FUNDRAISING CRUISES Many non-profit charities and organizations, including churches and synagogues have found cruising to be a great way to raise significant funds for their organization, while building greater community, among their members. So, how does a Fundraiser Cruise work? Dream Vacations will help your organization select the cruise that is right for your group. Most cruise lines allow you to mark up the price of the cruise from $25-$100. per passenger. This becomes the fundraising donation of each person sailing, that goes directly to your organization. Cruise lines have group amenity points, that allow you to receive between $25.-$75. per stateroom. This is in addition to the funds raised by marking up the actual cost of the cruise. Additional incentives include complimentary* berths, depending on the number of staterooms sailing. Your organization must have a non-profit 501c3 status Allow 4-6 weeks following the return of the cruise, to receive fundraising funds.
